The Permian Basin Oilman’s Bass Invitational (PBOBI) brings together the oil and gas community for world-class fishing, camaraderie and a greater purpose — supporting Make-A-Wish and helping grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Team registration is for two anglers — a captain and a partner.

Eligibility
Both anglers must meet the PBOBI oilfield eligibility requirements.
Boat Insurance
Proof of liability insurance for your boat must be provided before the tournament begins.
Fishing Licenses & Permits
Review the official rules for Lake Amistad permits and fishing-license requirements.
Waivers & Signatures
Both participants must complete the required PBOBI waiver/release and acknowledge the tournament rules.
Eligibility Requirements
Participation in the PBOBI is limited to those who meet the following criteria:
- Any person whose primary annual income is derived from the exploration and production of oil and gas or from providing service to the oil industry.
- Retirees from the oil industry are eligible, provided they are not currently employed in a non-oilfield industry.
- Spouses and dependents under the age of 22 of eligible participants may participate if they fish with that participant.
